Associate VP BASIS Ed Louisiana, Head of School at BASIS Baton Rouge Materra
I began my work in education as a teacher. I taught secondary math and science. I've been a public charter school principal for 15 years. The majority of my experience as an educator has been in New Orleans. A year ago I moved to Baton Rouge with my wife and three children. I currently work for BASIS in Baton Rouge. This coming year two of my children will be attending one of the schools I'll be leading.
